Trevor had a big day

Trevor had his feed tube removed today, and he did great with his feedings. If he keeps this up he'll be home in no time. He also had another ultrasound today, no word on the results yet.

Ruby gave me the cutiest little photo album with pictures that she had taken of Trevor. I would have never thought of taking the shots she took, they looked great and I loved them! Thanks Ruby for doing that for me, it really made me happy. :)

I think it looks like he's praying in this picture. His prayers must have worked because we got an apartment, i went and put the deposit down today.
The results will be back on Fri for the ultrasound but the tech said everything looked normal. Thats great but i still would like to know what is going on with him. He had his usual one big throw up for the day then he was fine the rest of the day.

I agree with Ruby some of the nicest people I know wear glasses and i agree its not so bad. :)

Trevor goes to Childrens Hospital tom. for an ultra sound for the vomiting. He had his eye exam and he's now stage 2 . The eye doctor said worst case he'll need glasses.

I was at the hospital until after 12:00 am so this blog is going to be very short. They are going to do some tests to find out why he keeps vomiting. On a good note he gained weight he now weighs 5 pounds 15 ounces.

Trevor says hi to everyone!

I dropped off an app. for an apartment today before i went to the hospital. The lady called me about an hour later and left a message that i needed to call her by 3:00 and she would rent me the one unit she had left. NO credit check( my sister lived there for 12 years) , I just need to call because she was showing the place at 4:00 to someone else. The message said she really wanted me to have it , but if i didn't call and the other people wanted it they would get it. Well i was at the hospital so my phone was off. I didn't get the message until 6:45 and when i called her she had already rented the apartment. She doesn't expect another vacancy until Dec. :( I told her to keep me in mind if anything came up sooner.
Trevor decided to be Linda Blair from the Exorcist again, this time it went all over Sarah. Other than that he's been doing so good at taking his bottles and he's almost at 6 pounds!

Today was the baby shower! We had so much fun ! The rooms were decorated with pictures of Trevor, so it was like he was with us. Dani and her mom had loads and loads of food for us and a yummy cake. It was great to see everybody and get them caught up with Trevors progress. I brought my scrapbooks to share so everyone could see how much he's grown. Everybody was amazed how well he's doing. I was so happy that so many people were able to come, and share the day with me. Trevor and I are loved by so many and I'm so happy we have such great support from family and friends. I think that we are set for quite awhile with all the gifts we recieved. I am amazed and so thankful to everyone who came!
A special thanks goes to Dani and Nancy for making the day so perfect.

This is Ruby!

My munchkin took three bottles in a row today, this is huge for him. The even better news is he managed to keep it all down! The bad news is what goes in must come out and let me tell you it wasn't pretty. It was GROSS and the smell was horrible. After the diaper change Rachel and i gave him a bath . I would like to say thanks to Ruby for pointing out that we didn't get all the soap out of his hair. I guess i still need some practice. :)
Mary and Ruby had fun with him last night and left me the cutiest picture of Trevor holding his little bear. I'll have to put it on my desk at work, one of my the employees already commented that we have pictures of him all over the office. So i guess one more can't hurt. :)
I am further convinced that Trevor and his girls are having too much fun at night. Today a nurse i had never met came up and asked how he was doing, she then said" we have so much fun with him at night, everybody knows Trevor", I'm glad that everybody takes such good care of him. Tonight he had Ruby, Erin and Sommer to look out for him, hopefully Ruby will take some pictures for me.
He's getting close to the 6 pound mark!

I promise that i will post more pictures on Sundays blog.

Trevor had his girlfriend Sarah today so things went much better then yesterday! He did so good with his bottles and no only one spit up. Sarah had dressed him in Padre colors for Friar Friday, and of couse he spit up before i got there to see it. She said that he had woke him self up at the 9:oo and 12:00 feedings. Thats a good sign that he might be getting the hang of the way things work. He seems so much more alert lately. Tonight all his girls were working , Mary had him but Ruby and Leslie were also working, so i think he's going to be one spoiled little guy tonight. :) His next door neighbors are still insane but they are entertaining to watch!

Jen you were going to email me a funny story. What happen? :)
As for your questions he had Airi(?) on Thursday. Sarah said that it might be a few days before the blood is ready for the transfusion, hopefully Rachel or Sarah will be there to stare the iv ( Rachels there this weekend & Sarah works mon & Tues)

my head hurts!

this morning i call the blood bank to make an appointment to give blood for the baby. They tell me that the hospital needs to fax a request before they can do anything. i tell them that i know that it was done last night. i was there when Jen was doing i, so i know it was done. The woman says " theres no record we can't do anything", so i say can't i just give blood and we can figure out the paperwork later. She gives me another # to call to make the appointment. I call the other # and we go through the whole thing again theres no record ....... so i call the first # back and tell her that i can call the hospital and have them refax it, no she says she'll call the hospital.( why didn't she do that in the first place?) Turns out it was faxed but it said baby boy and my last name and the people were looking for Trevor. I ended up not getting to see the baby until almost 2:00 because of all the mix up. Then there was some mix up on the nursing assignments and Trevor got someone he had never had before :( and Sarah got the babies next to him instead of Trevor. Needless to say all this and work my head hurts!
The day ended on a good note because Trevor had no spit ups and Mary taking care of him at night. Thank God!
to answer Christinas question Trevor needs to be able to take all his feedings before he can be released. he just needs more time, he's getting better with the feedings but he still needs some practice.

I guess that Trevor doesn't miss me when i' m at work. Today he had on his ladies man shirt and posed for pictures with Rachel and Kamelia. The other night Ruby took him for a tour around the unit to visit Leslie. The other day i called to see how he was found out that he and Kamelia were posing for pictures. Wow, the little guy has more fun when i'm gone. :) Leslie and Ruby are with him tonight, i'm sure something funs going on. I need to take that camera and get the pictures developed I'm sure some interesting stuff is on there. He's got a more active social life then I do!

Look how big my munchkin's getting, his finally clothes fit him. look at those chubbby legs! My sweet little guy is now 5 1/2 pounds! The past two days the baby has thought he was Linda Blair from the Exorcist! Yesterday it went all over Jen#3. Thankfully she was a good sport about it. I'm sure it wasn't very pleasent to be wearing my breastmilk. SORRY Jen! Last night and this morning it was all over him and his bedding. Rachel thinks it might be the formula because if i'm lactose intolerent the baby might be as well. I hope it gets figured out soon because i hate to see Trev in pain. :( Spray and wash is my new best friend!

Today was scapbooking, and i asked his nurse Rachel to bring in her books so i could get some ideas. Her books looked so much better than mine! I was able to get alot of great ideas from her books. I have already managed to finish two books and Trevors only 2 1/2 months old. I think i have a problem, i take way to many pictures. I can't help it though he's just so cute i don't want to miss anything.

Let me just say that Trevors neighbors are really getting on my nerves. Saturday i get up to go to the bathroom and they steal my pillow. Later i get up to make a phone call they steal my chair (i know they heard me say i'll be right back).

Today getting the baby out of his crib and the jerk starts to grab my chair! So i say i'm using that chair, he gives me a dirty look and rolls his eyes. Then he has the nerve to take the screen i was about to use. Rachel comes over and says "where's the screen Jen?". I point at the neighbor who now has two screens surrounding his wife. Rachel (the sweetest person in the world) says" why do they need both screens?". "They must be special" i answered. She then had to go next door to find me another one.

At the nine o'clock feeding the jerk did the same thing Trevors nurse brings me a screen and he walks over and just takes it! I gave him the dirtest look. Not more then two secs later he goes to grab for my chair. Again i say" i'm using that". He has the nerve to again give me a dirty look! Why must people be so rude????

Jen,how am I behind on posts?? Pictures i'm behind but not the posts! :) I must be dumb because i couldn't find the June Blog fom the UK mom. Whats it under? Or you could be nice and just print it and bring it on Wed. :)

today Jen gave Trevor a bath and i got alot of good pictures, which i didn't download but i will soon. :) He seems to love the water so much and we had no floaties ! I had to bring home a bunch of clothes that are too small for him to wear. I can't believe how big he is getting.


Janet you have my email address email me yours. Sorry to here about the visit from you know who. Sadly i used some of her noises the other day to calm Trevor it made me laugh because i thought of her. :)

This is Trevors girlfriend/nurse Kamelia. Doesn't he look like his smiling in the picture? I asked her to request to have him today, so i wouldn't worry about him while i was at work. She was so sweet to do that for us. Kamelia wrote Trevor a little cheer to help him with his feedings.

today his girlfriend Kameila left this note, and a picture frame by his bed. that made my day that she took the time to come see him. i know that when i'm at work all Trevors girls are looking out for him. :)

This is my buddie Jen#3 she takes good care of me. She's always nice to me, she likes to hold me and she likes to talk to me. she always tells me things that nobody else tells me like i smell, and that i have cheese and she tells me i need a bath, once she told me that i had a goatee.:) i smile because she likes to give mommy a hard time. Jen is trying to make sure that mommy can take good care of me when i get out of the hospital. She has taught my mommy so much and i'm glad because my mom isn't scared of me anymore. i like it when Jen works because my mom does more things with me. Don't tell anybody but i think i'm Jens favorite baby to care for. :) Mommy said that Jen won't admit it, but i know.
This is my other buddy Rachel she's always nice to me. Here shes helping me to get strong so i can lift my head on my own. i didn't feel like it so she said that we could try it again later. she also takes good care of me. she always calls me little buddy. she helps to teach my mommy things that she needs to learn to take care of me. Rachel is very nice and has also taught my mommy alot.

today i got to have both of my buddies take care of me and i was soooooooo happy. i had a really good day today. i took two whole bottle and i know weigh 4 pounds and 12.0 ounces. My mommy calls me her chunky monkey.

Trevor got a new neighbor today , she's not Janet thats for sure. this woman does nothing but complain about the nurses. all i here is her complaining, she keeps saying my baby is the smallest baby in here he needs more attention, where is the nurse. (myTrevor was smaller when he was born) she'll tell anyone that will listen " my boyfriends not going to happy about this". i never saw the boyfriend but i guess everyone needs to be worried . every five min. she would walk outside and call him. then she would come back in and say he's not happy. WHO CARES! the funny part was when she said we (as in her and me) need to complain and talk to the charge nurse about getting different nurses. i was like leave me out of it. can you see me complain about Trevors buddies? its not happening! this woman is going to get on my nerves, thats for sure.

anyway Trevor had a good day he had his girlfriend Sarah taking care of him. i am grateful that when i'm at work he's being well taken care of.

i'm registered at walmart and target Steph :)

Dana - i have two possible places to rent both are close to my parents. the bad thing is i know that at least one of the hospital bills has gone to collections, so i may not pass the credit check.:(
the showers going to be on the 24 of this month and yes i updated my wish list. :) i'm glad to hear Trevors girlfriend will be hear soon. (i know its a girl)

Melissa i can't tell you how much i miss you. there is nobody to talk to i sit there all day and try not to fall asleep. sorry to hear that Brandon has reflux i feel your pain. email me some new pictures when you can.

Jen this should prove how much i miss you my days off at work are the days you work. so your stuck with me. the little man is so big now he weighs 2050 grams. (?) i know thats over 4. anyway i will see you on weds, yeah i'll have somebody to talk with.


today Trevor had another Jen for a nurse she put him in his fireman shirt for 9/11 i thought that was cute.

i went to work for a big 4 hours and it sucked being away from Trevor. i missed him so much, when i called the hospital, i was so happy to hear Kamila answer the phone. She teased me because i sounded so excited, i was just happy he had someone cool taking care of him.
somebody forgot to get me taken off of loa, so that took about an hour to get cleared up. i put a framed picture of Trevor on my desk, and had two pictures in my apron so i could show everyone the little man. it was great to see/ talk to the girls again, they all came by or called to say hi. :)
then i met up with Helen for a quick lunch and i rushed to see Trevor, i was so happy once i had him in my arms. she got him a cute little sleeper, and brought me more magazines. :)

today a mystery was finally solved. every so often i would notice glitter on the baby. i thought i was going crazy because it wasnt everyday just somedays there would be this glitter on him. Today he had alot on his head, so i asked Kamila about it. It turns out the glitters from her she has glitter lip gloss. i guess Trevors got another girlfriend. :)

Sunday = work = :( i'm going to hate leaving Trevor to go back to work. Thankfully its only going to be parttime. i hate to be away from him any longer than i have to be, but i didn't win the lotto, so back to work i go.
Trevors doing so good on his feedings. He took his whole bottle for me today in 20 min. and he's doing so good with the breastfeeding. His night nurse called over two other nurses to see how good he was doing. i can't tell you how much i loved that. :) The one nurse kept saying look at how small he is and look at him go. Thanks Jen#3 for telling me to stick with it , i must admit you were right it's something i've come to enjoy. Suddenly he seems to be getting this eating thing down, the reflux still sucks though. :(

we need some place to live!

so today i started to look for an apartment /house for the baby and I. i can tell you its not fun. i need to find something asap, in a good area, with an affordable rent. after my meeting with the hospital today about the bills i've been receiving i might be living in a cardboard box. :) my insurance is only covering 80% of the bills, and the bill keep coming daily. i'm afraid to go to my post office box, because i know that its going to be more hospital bills. :( oh well!
the good news is Trevor now weighs 4 pounds and 5.6 ounces.

he's doing so good on his feedings, i know that i better hurry and get ready he's going to be home soon. i'm so excited and so nervous , he's every thing that i've every wanted and so much more. :)

Today Steph came and we went to the mall. she bought the baby two shirts on says I love my mommy, the other said ladies man. :) i got him a superman shirt and two rock shirts and a rock star outfit. they are so cute i can't wait for him to fit into them.

Trevor was taken off of two of his meds this morning. thats a good sign! he had a pretty good day, just one bad spit up during his feed. otherwise it was a calm day for him.

this weekend the little guy again had a little accident in his bath. so i didn't know if they would let him do any water related activities for a while. Lyndi was brave enough to try and Trevor was successful there was nothing extra floating in the water this time. :)

he had a pretty good day only one choking and spitting up incident! he gained back the weight he had lost yesterday, so he's again 4 pounds 4 ounces.

i went to work for a couple of hours this morning and got to help with a shoe giveaway one of the stores was having. everyone wanted to know about the baby, they all were suprised at how well he looks. Dani came by and dropped off five new outfits. he needs to wear them before he grows out of them, i don't think he'll be in preemie sizes too much longer. Steph got him a halloween bib, and Tony Hawks mom Nancy gave me money to buy Trevor something. needless to say the baby was the star of the morning.
